Training Course availability

Contact us for further details of courses and workshops below or to request new ones under the headings of conservation, wildlife surveys, species identification and sustainable living. This will greatly help us to develop our training programme in line with demand.

Course title Each course title links to a detailed description of the course. Those courses marked "LLL" are run at Denmark Farm in association with the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of Aberystwyth. They are fully accredited courses at NQF Level 4.

Cost and discounts The lower price applies if you are unwaged (or work less than 16 hours per week). Supporters of Shared Earth Trust can receive a large 20% discount on the higher course price (excluding Lifelong Learning courses, which are already subsidised). Additionally, there is a multiple booking discount of 15% from total cost of two or more courses booked in any one year. We also appreciate return visitors. For example, if you book on another course in 2011, having attended a course in 2010, you will receive 15% discount from the 2011 course cost. The courses run jointly with Lifelong Learning, University of Aberystwyth (coded LLL) and with Flora Locale are either free or already heavily subsidised. Hence the very favourable rates and no further discount.

Where a course is fully booked or has already been held, you can use the on-line "Reserve" link to express an interest for next year or to be offered any places available through cancellations.
